In Nice, the Plug Festival unearths the best films on mobile and the young talents who make cinema move.

Short films, new series formats, virtual reality, Plug is opening up a wealth of new cinematographies and continuing its pioneering mission in 2021, to share today's cinemas with all audiences.

Plug is a digital laboratory, because yes, today's cinema is home to a plural: that of forms, formats, durations, approaches and supports. Plug is also a unique moment when directors from all over France converge in Nice, on the occasion of its Challenge.

For its first edition at the MAMAC in Nice, in the context of the Centenary of the Victorine, in September 2019, Plug drew the map of another type of cinema.

Thanks to the support of its partners - more specifically the City of Nice, Orange, Crédit Agricole and Dailymotion - Plug now moves up to the first division, internationally. The Festival is proud to announce that its 2019 Grand Prix (Submerged) has been included in the Official Selections of seven of the biggest International Mobile Film Festivals.
